Modular sofas: so many ideas!

Thanks to their modularity, these sofas allow to create customised solutions according to every comfort and taste. When choosing your sofa, three factors should be taken into account: the available home space, therefore the evaluated size limits, your relax needs and, last but not the least, the aesthetic and practical point of view. Not all the sofas by Doimo Salotti are modular, anyway there is a wide offer: raised sofas, floor level sofas, in leather or fabric, with fixed seats, relax function or extendible seats, with high or low backrest, with headrest… The expression “modular sofas” is commonly related to the corner sofas, but it is not always the case.

Linear seats, with or without relax function, chaise longue, peninsulas, corners, shaped end sides, poufs, bookcases and additional elements: these are the units involved in the modular sofas.

Modular sofas with shaped corner

Sofa with shaped end side corner with peninsula or chaise longue: a simple and ever timely composition. Just combine 2 or 3 linear seats as you like with a finished corner element which can, in some cases, be integrated with a pouf (like sofa Charles).

Corner solutions such as this sofa Steven are perfect even in small spaces where you do not want to give up a full relaxing island layout, thanks to the management of different size modules.

Corner modular sofas

Corner sofas, like the sofa York, are composed of two linear seat blocks joined up with a corner element. Corner modular sofas can be made up of single upholstered elements or integrated with additional accessories, such as supporting tables.

Seat modules can be all of types: fixed seats, with relax function, even with bed mechanism in some cases. These compositions require a bigger space, but they can represent a complete furnishing solution in a free corner space of your home, particularly when integrating bookcases or supporting surfaces to the sofa.

If the living room is the heart of your home, the meeting point of the family, the sofa will be of proper size to accommodate everybody.

Modular sofas with accessories

Modular sofas do not only include corner solutions but also linear solutions or arranged in an obtuse angle, where you can add various seating modules, intermediate accessory elements or shelves. One of these sofas is Gregory.

Finally, regarding the compositions, each model respects its own rules according to the elements’ shape. Some compositions can be switched or changed keeping the same elements, others are fixed and evolutions are not allowed over time.
